The Domestic Growth Insight Tool (DGiT) dashboard analyses domestic tourist profiles and their characteristics based on various criteria, including target destination, demographic target, time of year, etc.

How do I use DGiT?

To use DGiT effectively, start by thinking about a specific question you want to explore. For example, you could ask, “How big is the market for my product or service?” or “What activities should we promote to attract visitors to our area?” or “What is the best price for our services?”

Once you have your question, the next step is to set some filters to help you find the answer. For instance, if your question is about the market size for your product or service, you might use two filters: one for the area where your product or service operates (Target Destination) and another for the type of product or service, like ‘Activity’ for a fun activity or ‘Preferred Accommodation’ for lodging.

After you’ve found the answer to your initial question, you can either add more filters to get a more detailed answer or you can ask a different question altogether.
